English is essential. when you enter into global market, english is one of the requirements beside others such as skill and knowledge. Therefore, there are many systems that are designed to test someone's ability in english such as TOEFL, TOEIC, IELTS.

for academic purposes, IELTS is a test system that fit in that. Many universities in the world require IELTS as one of the requirements. There are four aspects in this test. They are listening, speaking, reading and writing. Interestingly, this test is designed to test our ability in all parts. unlike TOEFL paper based, IELTS is more challenging because some one must be more active than passive.
